A classic, holds up pretty well

Super Mario RPG is what launched the classic Mario RPGs to follow including the Paper Mario and the Mario & Luigi series. Super Mario RPG plays well still today with pretty good graphics though the controls can be a little limiting based on its age. The story is good, combat is too. My only real qualm here is that it is unforgiving. Some of the boss battles are absolutely brutal, especially if you didn't get certain items in the beginning of the game.
