I may be the only person on this planet that didn't think much of the original Mario Kart.

Ah, the original Super Mario Kart. 2D cars and 2D coins, and 2D question mark boxes. Sweet.
Graphics
What did I just tell you? 2D cars, coins and boxes. Not much to graphics.
Sounds
The sound isn’t as annoying as it could be. I’ve never been bored with Mario music. It’s also nice because there is no music during a race.
Gameplay
Not very good for a Mario game. There are only 7 different races you can enter in the one player game, and the two player games stink. There are 8 characters and in my opinion, none of them are good. A bad thing about the races is that the same 4 people always finish in the same 4 places. Always. No matter what.
Controls
“A” is gas, “B” is brake, the D-pad moves. Simple controls for a simple game. There’s a jump button too. Frustration Rate:
The first 5 races are incredibly easy, the 6th race is just a little bit harder, and the last race is impossible. I gave up on the last race. You can’t win. Don’t try.
Durability
Haha. That made me giggle.
