a Uniquely done platformer, that combines the best of the old and new, too create a game thats fun, and long lasting.

When it comes to modern day platformers they just don't have the same get up and go as the old ones on the N64 Era with the death of Donkey Kong and the vehicle driven Banjo Kazooie, its showing the perhaps platformers are trying to change to much. What shocked me most about Super Mario Galaxy is how it combined what Super Mario 64 fans liked and added a new uniqueness to it. The world design is also very cool at some times you are upside down, while other you are right side up, its also got a load of challenge, my only complaint is that sometimes the controls can be a little frustrating but thats a given when it comes to the wii. The Storyline well its mario so who cares its always the same save the prince, beat up bowser and restore peace to the Mushroom Kingdom and the Galaxy. You meet up with a girl named Rosalina who has a story of her own shrouded in mystery. It uses the wii controls rather uniquely too and makes it rather fun. a must play for anybody looking for a game. Super Mario Galaxy shows us that its possible to make a good platformer for both old and new gamers. 10/10
