My sister got me this game for my birthday this past Septemeber and it was only recently that I started making some serious progress in it. I must say, this version supercedes its predecessor in every way possible. New and more intricate levels, better graphics, increased difficulty, same storyline (as in nearly every single Mario adventure game), and added fun. there were times where I just let the controller down or took it easy to soak in the awesome graphics as well as the music and the scenery before turning things up a bit. The game definitely starts of pretty easy, allowing you to get your your feet wet a bit before the difficulty level slowly increases. I am very enthusiastic about the game but my only complaint about this game is that at times, certain levels can be very difficult to the point where it can get very irritating after you lose a million times. That got me somewhat frustrated at times but what saves the game is the feature allowing Rosalina to play the level for you and get the star. Yes, I do know that you get the Bronze star instead, but I would rather go that route than be stuck for an eternity on a difficult level. I love some of the new transformations such as rock Mario and cloud Mario. Very unique and funny. Nintendo has indeed outdone itself and has continued to set the standards for gaming on the Wii.
