My mum purchased Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Wii just a day after the game released and I was very excited as A: I enjoyed Super Mario Galaxy and B: I was SUPER excited when I heard about Galaxy 2 when I saw trailers and gameplay footage of the game. I have played through a lot of this game and I put a lot of time into it, so now I will review this game.
I feel that Nintendo really worked hard with this game as they took what made Mario Galaxy 1 a great game and improved on it a lot. New features including the World Map, the return of Yoshi in a 3D game since Mario Sunshine, the new planets and other new features. this game is stunning graphically, has an awesome story-line, the music is great (especially the remixed music from the older games), the planets are awesome and the fact that Mario drives his own frickin' Starship is awesome as well.
I didn't enjoy the Bowser fights as much as the first Mario Galaxy, (except for the final boss) but they were still enjoyable.
Nintendo were always known for pulling off amazing games and this game is no exception.
