The story is the kings of 7 worlds have had their wands taken off by the 7 Koopa Kids Bowsers children and Mario and Luigi have to get them back. Once the 7 wands have been retrieved Bowser takes Princess Peach no suprise there and Mario and Luigi have save her from Bowser.

The gaming world is perfect with worlds like Sky, Grass, Desert, Water, Ice, Pipe , Giant land and Dark Land Bowsers land. The Mario Bros go through these with power ups new and old like fire flower and mushroom and star. New power ups like racoon tail, tanooki, Frog Suit and Hammer Bros Suit and P Wing and games and mushroom houses where you can get lifes and power ups.

Enemies like goombas and Koopa Troopas are back and new like the big Fish and the Sun in Desert Land are Dangerous. The game was quite long on the Nintendo system but has been remade twice on the Snes and GBA and has not lost any of it's qualities this game made Mario a legend and many more class titles like Mario World and Mario 64 are known to be better by some people but this was the best Mario for me a classic and will never be forgotten.
