this game won my childhood. great fun, and classic. masterpiece game, and Mario will never be forgotten.
Okay, this game is probably the best game on the NES. in this new world, mario can do things from the past, eat a mushroom, get a fire flower,star etc. but when super mario bros. 3 came along, mario can now turn into a raccon and fly, get a tanikooi suit, and turn into a statue for a few seconds, turn into hammer mario, where he can throw hammers that kill all enemies, become a frog and swim very well with the frog suit,get a cloud which helps him skip levels, and get a P hand which lets him fly through the whole level! this game was a blast! 8 worlds of different lands, unique fortresses, toad houses to get items,some hammer bros to kill to get items,amazing scenery,pipes,bridges,gates,secrets, and a castle at every worlds end. each castle had an airship, which you would fight a boss at the end (bowser's kids) and the airships were hard at points. there was a Japanese man who got through this game in 3 minutes. as i said before mario will never be forgotten. his games are still the greatest.
