This is my favroite mario game in the series.
Mario 2on the other hand is not really a Mario game but a converted Japanese game but it fit so well you could never tell and most of the character such as birdo are no a part of the mario games forever.
not only can you play as the bros but peach and toad as well and they all have there own special abilty this makes the game much deeper because you can choose a new character to pass a specifc part of the game after a death.
The graphics and world are very trippy and pretty unforgetable there is of course birdo shyguy jumping nijnji all set on this araban nights like desart theme it quite nice one level has you diging up sand to get to a door at the bottom while avoiding enemies.
You also cant die in one hit you can collect mushrooms to gain hearts that will let you take up to 4 hits and rather than jump on your foes you jump on there head and pick them up and throw them at the next.
The use what you find throwing for a weapon was very new back then and I found myself using things not made to be weapons like a huge key for unlocking the door to the new level.
Like Zelda 2 though that was also another game i loved that was more than worthy of the zelda name. People tend to make fun and put this game down for being different from the other Mario games rather than how fun it is which is not fair that is when series like tomb raider start to get really bad and boring now isn’t it?
