The beginning of gaming collections: For better or worse, the start had all Mario.

User Rating: 6.7 | Super Mario Collection SNES
This is the very first gaming collection in existance (not counting the Atari 2600) and it started a bad cult. What is bad about gaming complations? Almost all of them are half assed with only extremely mildly entertaining gameplay and horrible control changes. However though, unlike those stupid complations, this contains 4 (or five if you get the version with Super Mario World) games that will entertain you. Thing is: Once you beat each one, chances are you won't play it again. It is the ride there though that you remember, and the difficulty will probably make you take weeks to beat them all.

+ The updated graphics for Super Mario Bros. 2 is excelent.
+ The sound tracks are fairly nice.
+ Luigi OWNS!
+ Old gameplay is sweet.
+ The lost levels wasn't released in the U.S.A until now, and boy is it good!
+ Two player mode will make you giggle for a little while.
- No enhancements were wanted for the original
- Shows you how little the series evolved.
- Why is there no minus world?
- Very bad replay value and SoundFX

Overall: 6.7/10
Buy it if you haven't played these games yet, or if you are addicted to Mario Bros. Otherwise, just rent it.
