Game: Super Mario All-Stars (Wii 25th Anniversary Edition)
Platform: Nintendo Wii
Game RRP: £24.99
Release Date: 03/12/2010

This game was first released on the SNES back in 1993 and it was totally awesome back then, a must have for all SNES owners. You basically get the exact SNES version of Super Mario All Stars which includes, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels on a Wii disc. You also get a Mario booklet; containing the history of Mario games from 1985-2010 and an audio CD which contain classic Mario theme tunes which are instantly recognizable. Super Mario All-Stars is still very great fun to play considering it was released 17 years ago! The game can be played by tilting the Wii remote and using it as a handheld controller, Gamecube controller or my favourite the classic controller/pro.

However I feel Nintendo have been really lazy with such a great brand, 25 years strong and the best they could come up with is this??? The game doesn't even have a 16:9 screen support! I think they could have easily put the SNES ports of Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart using the same disc. This is a really wasted opportunity; they could have given us so much more than just a snes port of Mario All Stars wrapped in fancy packaging.

BUT STILL.........This is a great classic game and is only available for a limited time only!!! If you're an old skool gamer like myself and spent some of your childhood playing this game then you should definitely buy this regardless of its flaws,as it is sure to put a big smile on your face :-)))
