When you are done playing a game you hit plus then it will show a menu and it has these options Continue, Save and Continue and Quit and saveand if you pick. Save and Continue or Quit and save it will save to your hard drive from the world that you saved in
Also note that when you save and quite, you are only saving up to the World you reach not the levels within that world. let's say you reach world 5 and get to level 5-6, then save quit. When you go back in, you'll have to start at level 6-1. All your inner world progress is NOT saved, but at least you don't have to start from scratch.
Either hit (+) and hit "Save and Continue" or "Save and Quit;" or finish a game the old-school way (Lose all lives or win the game) and select "Save and Quit."
Look in your instruction booklet for what point in each game it saves up to.
Press + and press save and quit but it only saves to the first level of the world your on.
