One of the best 3D Platformers EVER!

Here it is, the very first N64 game I ever played, Super Mario 64. This game is simply one of the most outstanding games ever. The graphics are very nice and precise and the levels are so big and you could explore forever if you wanted to. The objective of the game is to save the princess from the evil Bowser and you will get cake for rescuing Princess Toadstool. You must collect stars to move on from level and keep collecting power stars. I guarantee you that none of the levels will disappoint you with such great graphics and levels so wide. There is one level where you have to footrace Koopa the Quick, a supposedly quick Koopa. The first time you race to the top of Bob-omb Mountain and it should be very easy, but this level shows off how big that level and how most of the other levels are big. Eventually, you will get a key by defeating Bowser to unlock a door needing a key to move on throughout the castle. You must defeat Bowser 3 times throughout the course of the game. The third time you beat him, you win the game BUT you can go back and collect all 120 stars in the game. Do this and you will be able to launch yourself out of a cannon, onto the castle, and meet the great Yoshi. Upon meeting Yoshi, he will thank you for playing through Mario 64 and reward you with 100 lives. Anyway, the sound on the game is very good and has different soundtracks for every place you go to. Whether it is a gloomy place or a nice and cheery place the music fully adapts to whatever environment you are playing in. The gameplay will keep you hooked to this game for a long time, trust me. Collecting the 120 stars is not a complete piece of cake, ha! Get it cake, because after you rescue the princess she gives you cake. Okay, not funny, but the gameplay will keep you enticed in collecting red coins, foot racing with Koopa the Quick, battling bosses such as Bob-omb boss, Wiggler, King Whomp and more. The levels are very nice as I have said before and you can run around all you want doing a bunch of different stuff whenever you want. Very fun game, and a TON of different things to do. I believe this was actually the very first game to come out on the Nintendo 64 as I got it when I bought my Nintendo 64. Well, let me just say, for the first game this is most definitely one of the best that I have ever played and I also give it credit because it introduced me to gaming. It was the first game I have ever played before in my life and definitely staying in my collection forever. I extremely recommend picking this game up and playing through it the whole way, trust me it will please you for the rest of your life.
