Super Mario games typically dont disappoint and it seems this one follows that formula to perfection.

Okay so this is a good refresher from the typical mario side scrolling adventure, however, if you are into the side scroller mario's this game could potentially be right up your alley. This game delivers fun gameplay, great visuals, and really diverse levels, it checks out in virtually everything, the reason I gave it and 8 out of 10 rather than a perfect score is simply becuase it doesnt deliver a substantial amount of content, both end game and generally, the other reason is of less importance, however, that being said its still a considerable factor, the game just doesnt feel challenging enough. For old school gamers challenge used to be everything but over time people have forgotten what it felt like to truly accomplish a terrific feat in a game, the pay off not being "special prizes" or what have you, but rather a certain saticfaction, that only a truly hard game can offer to the table, true mario games arent notorious for their difficulty, but I still believe this one to be a little easy if I can go through the entire game without at least 1 game over. Now that the crtizisms are out of the way, I think this one is a great addition to the 3ds and well worth playing.
