Story: Story is obvious to Mario fans. Princess Peach get's captured once again and it's up to Mario to save her. Like in previous games, there are eight worlds to complete. The story so far is great but there isn't that much of a story here. Basically you complete levels to advance and you save the princess at the end just like other Mario games. I feel like I'm just playing the same game over and over again. There may be new features here but not much to keep it interesting.
Gameplay: Every Mario game plays the same. You jump, you shoot fire balls, swing your tail to kill enemies, and more. This game is a 3D game and not a 2D side scroller. Although there are moments were your forced to walk sideways. In this game they introduce new items like the Propeller Box, Boomerang Suit, and the Tanooki Suit. These new items make Super Mario 3D Land a fresh new, different game from it's previous games. There's also a new challenge were you have to beat dozens of mystery boxes. In the mystery box you can get different items and trade them via Street Pass. This is an okay feature but it's not something people would use.
3D Graphics: The graphics are great in this game especially turning on the 3D. There not much to say since the graphics are good.
Overall: This game is great and if you own a 3DS you should buy it. It's a great and fun game.
