It may look like a plain RPG at the start but it's simply amazing

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story is a RPG by Atlus where you take the role of an apprentice Craftknight with a big goal: to become a Craftlord, just like his/her late father.

The gameplay is just amazing, even though most of it is like most of RPGs; you have to talk to people to gather information, etc, the only exception is that you go into a dungeon where you gather materials to make your own weapons, yes you don’t buy them you craft them and you have to know the techniques to craft them. About the battle system, if you have played Tales of… series you will get used to it quickly, because it is similar but at the same time it’s different, first of all because you can carry 3 weapons with you and change them whenever you want and you can use your Guardian Beast to help you with spells or items, but you can only use it 5 times per battle.

The game graphics are just good; in dialogues you can see the face of the characters in an anime style. In battles, the character and the enemies look awesome and every weapon has its own sprite.

About the sound it’s just perfect, it fits perfectly to the situation and you will never get tired of it, at least most of the music themes.

This game is worth playing and it has some reply-value, the dialogues changes whether your character is male or female and there are four Guardian Beasts so you have plenty of reasons to play it again, although only two of them speak properly.
