Your better off with watching the REAL Olympics.
Unfortunately, Summer Athletics comes with none of these. This has to be one of those games that was pushed at the last minute and the designers just lumped all their ideas into a barrel, shook the barrel around for about a minute or two, put it into the "Blender of Thought," inserted into the "Genius Oven," and hoped that we would eat their concoction of garbage... It's that bad.
First off, the graphics are like a 6 year old got on the design board and just attempted to put player models together and the one piece track uniform in which your character wears, looks colored in. The only difference between the suits is the different colors for the different nations.
Second, game play is weak like crazy. There are only 8 different types of events and a couple events only have one single variation of that event. For instance, the track comes with the one hundred all the way to the mile and half run, while the swimming competitions come with 100 meter butterfly to the relay. But then there are the ones like the diving which only have the one competition.
In the end, I'm literally thinking "How could I have lost $15 on such a stupid game?" I had seen it and thought it might be an alright game, but unfortunately, I was SO wrong. Trust me; you would have more fun getting your eyes checked at your eye doctor or flipping burgers behind a grill at Burger King than buying this game.
