Suikoden Lives on PSP!

I bought this one for download on my PSP. For a game that is over 10 years old, it still is worth playing. The monster battles are for the most part easy. I do not really care for the rock paper sissor type battles of the Liberation Army and the Empire, but all else is fun. The graphics are on par with a Gameboy Advanced RPG. The story is kind of hokey for modern day games. Still I found myself dedicationg many hours to monster fights and sharpening weaopens.
I think that the reason that it is still interesting after all this time is that it is relaxing. Mondern games are tense. The hold just enough realisim to drag you into the game emotionally, but these older (Old-School) games..are not as draining emotionally, yet provide enough entertainment to suck you in for many hours.
I play this game when I want to take a break from the Xbox 360 and PS3 games....It good enough to keep me playing to the end..

If this was 1998, I'd give it an 8.5...However since it is somewhat old in the tooth, I give it a 7.0
