suikoden 5 is about a boy that is the prince of falena, he has a bodyguard named lyon, his mother is going crazy becuase of the sun rune she has and his 10 year old sister lymsleia has to get married, and to find out who she will marry is decided by a group of arena fights, and who ever beats all of the opponents wins and gets to marry his sister lymsleia, but the person who wins shouldn't have won, because he is not a good person, lymsleia will be married in a few days, when the prince and all of his family are sleeping, there is a suprise attack the prince and his bodyguard lyon, plus the prince's aunt sialeeds and her bodyguard georg escape the castle to hope that the other family members bodyguards are alright and alive, the prince and co find out that someone told everyone of falena that the prince and sialeeds had been killed by georg, the prince finds out that the to be husband of lymsleia is behind all of this and the prince goes to war with him and his forces.
