I love this game to death, it was the first game in the Suikoden series that I ever played and I'm glad. If I had not played Suikoden II first, I most likely would not have gotten so attached to the Suikoden series at all.

The story flows naturally and the characters are so interesting, you either love them or hate them and sometimes you even laugh, cry, and cheer for them.
By the end of the story I was sad that everyone split up and went their own ways, it was like saying goodbye to a bunch of good friends.

The game-play was a lot smoother than the first Suikoden and the sprites and colors used were more colorful and life-like too. It seemed like they gave the sprites more emotion and movement than before. Even the mini-games were more addictive and fun. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes a good long RPG.
