The humorous zombie game with braaaains

User Rating: 8 | Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse XBOX
Well after years of looking for this late xbox title I finally get to give it a play through. There seems to be mixed reactions to this, no game is flawless. But I think Stubbs is the perfect match for any zombie or horror fan, or someone that likes to be the bad guy in games.

Below I've compiled the good and bad things I noticed in the gameplay:

GOOD:
- Music: many updated 50's era tunes that are pretty well-done. I actually wish they were played more often.
- Graphically the game looks fine for an Xbox game. I especially loved looking at Stubbs detail such as his lit cigarette and huge hole in his torso revealing his organs. Nice touch.
- The various chatter and npc dialogue is often random and hilarious.
- Being able to drive a few vehicles like jeeps and tanks definitely added to the fun.
- The various 'weapons' or powers Stubbs has are creative and fun to use.
- Being able to create zombies out of your victims never gets old.

BAD:
- Lack of real story or sense of direction.
- No map or compass so sometimes you can get lost.
- Can be either very easy or punishingly difficult inconsistently.
- Its near impossible to actually control your zombie horde.
- It is somewhat brief by todays standards. 8-10 hours of gameplay.

Overall this is a fun and fairly simple action game with potential to have done a bit more. It is the only game I know of besides Left 4 Dead where you can be the Zombie, so that also makes this very cool and worth a buy. Heres to hoping for a sequel.
