You must protect builders constructing a castle in this short mini-game. Archers on the wall are your only defense against hordes of swordmen and crossbowmen.

The v1.2 Stronghold patch adds a bunch of new features and corrects some bugs. This download also includes the fixes introduced in the v1.1 patch. Please see the readme file for more details.

Also included are the five historical castles of Edinburgh, The Tower of London, Harlech, Haut-Koenigsbourg, and Koblenz Stolzanfels.
