It's raining outside and you sit staring out the window wondering when there will be a break in the weather and what you can do in the meantime. You have an affinity for medieval time frame based games...and still you wonder...what can I do? The answer? Play Stronghold 3. If you have ever thought of what it would be like to build your own medieval village, design your own castle, live a medieval lifestyle, well, this game can give you an idea. I have enjoyed every minute of play thus far. Does it have some bugs? Yes, but many of them have been addressed already with recent patches. Now, the game is much more stable then it's initial release and as has been shown in the past with Firefly, the game will only get better with time.
If you have never tried one of the Stronghold series of games or if you were turned off by recent entries in the series (Legends etc.) then now is the time to get into it or come back. This really is a fun RTS and will appeal to the medieval lovers out there.
So, light a fire in the fireplace, listen to the rain patter against the window, pour yourself a cup of tea...and fire up the laptop. It's going to be a wonderful night of castle building...
