The best game I've played on a Game Gear.

Streets of Rage 2 on the Sega Game Gear is a side scrolling beat'em'up that offers much of what is available on it's Genesis counter part.

Here's a run down:
* You can play as multiple characters, each with their own set of strengths, weaknesses and attacks.
* There's lots of levels to fight through, and they provide a variety of locations that are noticeably different from one another.
* There's several types of bad guys to go up against, who also have their own fighting styles, and are not simply the same models with a different coat of paint.
* You can also set your difficulty level, but no matter what you pick, you'll be in for a challenge.
* The characters, background, and objects all look good and are easy to distinguish from one another so you won't be losing your place on the small screen when there's a brawl going on.
* The controls are tight and intuitive.
* Combat is satisfying. There's a decent selection of moves to perform, you'll be able to pick up and fight with or throw the odd knife or pipe, and the hit detection almost perfect.

In fact, pretty much everything is well refined and creates a fantastic gaming experience. If you still own a Game Gear, you should have this game. This Streets of Rage 2 title offers more fun than many console games in the same genre can offer.
