The only thing that is is different is that you cant just drive around the expressways, there is a parking lot you go to if you want to change your location or if you want to challenge a racer.

Other then that its just fun, you start out but buying a cheap car and joining a racing crew. As your progress in the game you and your crew battle for control or territories.

And thats the basics, you race, tune up your car, challenge other racing teams...

too bad there is no VS mode, it would be really fun to connect your your friends psp and race against his/her cars.

but aside from that the game is just really fun once.
