My first game I ever got and while no Crash Team Racing its still a pretty fun kart racer.
So anyway I went down to Currys armed with £20(the rest of my birthday money)and shock horror-games were going for 40,£45.(imagine paying that for a PS1 game nowadays.)Luckily there was a bargin bin at the side where some cheaper games were and well I liked the box design on street racer so I bought it.
Maybe I did bump the score up for this game slightly seeing that it was my first ever game I got ,but everyone who Ive played the game with have thought that it was either ok or pretty good so if you do see it going pretty cheap and are currious then Id reccomend it.Now for the actual reveiw
Graphics
pretty boxy and basic 3d effects but for the whole the game has a nice cartoony look to it with some cool character designs.
Gameplay
your pretty standerd kart racer with the bonus that your karts always have powerups available so if someone overtakes you then you can treat the game a bit like a fighting game and just punch them away.
Lifespan
A progressive difficulty level mixed with lots of tracks and characters mean that this game will last you a while or in my case 6 mounths seeing it was my only game I had for ages.
Rumble mode
The best thing about the game however that keeps me coming back to it is rumble mode .As I mentioned earlyer the game is a wee bit like a fighting game at times.Well in this mode the game is a fighting game as you tussle with competators to try and knock them out the sumo ring.
