Street Hoops is fun for a while but then the fun seems to die out.

Well, when I first played this game I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong. Street Hoops kept me occupied for a few weeks. It's not too hard or too easy and it's a fun game don't get me wrong but after you unlock everything the fun dies. Even playing against other people (multiplayer) isn't fun. There is basically no meaning to this game afer you unlock everything. I'd say that it is too short. If Activision would've made a game that was loner and had a storyline in this then it would be amazing. For some reason they thought this would have success but they were completely wrong. So now moving onto the gameplay. The dunks are amazing and somewhat realistic. It's like what you would see in a real game of street ball. There are many different types of dunks so you don't see a player doing a 360 and then dunking everytime they dunk. The passing is also amazing. Some of the passes are pretty unrealistic but hey, street ball is about style not originality. The blocks actually make you feel like you are blocking someone. The one thing that eats me up is when the computer pushes you. It pisses me off when you are standing still for two seconds and then they push you and you lose the ball. And now to create a player. This mode is horrible. You barely get to customize anything. You of course can change their name, age, stats, etc. but not their face, hair or anything. It's no fun at all because when people want to create a player, they usually want it to look like themself. That's basically impossible in this game. And now to the graphics. They are questionable. The players aren't very detailed at all and their faces look like big blotches of mud. Other than that the graphics are fine. Now to the soundtrack. To me it is horrible. It is rap. Some examples of artists are Ludacris, Xhibit, Talib Kweli, and more. I don't like rap so I hate it but if you like rap then it should be no problem. And onto the value. This game isn't worth much because of the shortness of it. I'd say it's worth around $15. So make sure you buy this cheap unless you really know what you are doing.
