Ono-san said he'd rather make Street Fighter V or Darkstalkers rather than making a newer version of the game. Hoping to see another Darkstalkers!

Ono-San drops some hints at character customization features in Streetfighter X Tekken.
this is more street fighter than tekken. both game have different pace and they used the street fighter pace and the graphics is street fighter quality.
Capcom is making Street Fighter x Tekken with street fighter inspired graphics and gameplay and Namco is making the opposite, Tekken x Street Fighter with tekken inspired gameplay and graphics.. Should be interesting...
i will play this game for sure yeaaaaaaaah i really love Street Fighter games but this time will be with tekken yaaaaay love you ,,,,,, but the big deal is Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 cuz this game will be my top fighting game lolz :) anyway i will get them both no matter what it cost :)
would make sense if it was like street fighter ex2 which was a 3d arena, if talking about sacrifice, i rather use it to increase the speed to x5 cause the speed of street fighter is slow, even tell now i still cant use to supper street fight even though i got the PC version so slow.........
I would like it if they really planning new Darkstalkers game too. Greedy a bit, I hope to see new Project Justice or Power Stone game too. Please please please~ :P
really surprised he mentioned the possibility of a 'super' version already. Christ, i've only just bought my 3rd revision of sf4. balance patches - good, charging for the game the way it should have been in the first place - bad.
For a while there i thought the gem system was like that of pocket fighter. There's somewhat of an RPG-ish feel to it after Ono san explained it.
@NoblesseOblige3 -sigh- it's NOT just Street Fighter with Tekken characters. They have said MANY times that they have to add tekken features in order for us Tekken fans to be able to play it
Def skeptical, been a huge SF fan never really enjoyed tekken but i havent played too much of it so ill have wait till it comes out and gauge the reaction of fans before i drop 60 bucks on it.
I love Tekken games but am not a huge fan of the Street Figher system...sooo I wonder if I can even enjoy playing this seeing as it's really Street Fighter with Tekken characters :-/
i love it everytime he slips in a darkstalker comment everytime he is interviewed.........fingers crossed
Its best to respect all the classic fighting games. Especially Mortal Kombat because it is the main reason for the ESRB which has helped countless games on numberous platforms. SF has taken element from other fighting games including Mortal Kombat and Vitual Fighter. But stupid SF fanboys are just as bad as COD fanboys. You play the name not the game.
mortal kombat wil never be the best because it is too simple, like virtual fighter will never be the best because it is too technical. Street fighter is just right, might I add it brought fighting games back into the limelight. No street fighter= no mortal kombat...
Blah, eff this game. Mortal Kombat will always be the best fighting game! Pure fun! None of this techy crap nonsense.
@drangel_jam I see what you're saying. I can see that but similar to that is Soul Calibur IV's customization system and if you put all the same upgrades and effects, you have the same character with the same everything. So unless you can manually tweak some things, I don't see how these gems will create the diversity Capcom is looking for.
@sirkibble2 Ether the gem system is going to be balanced or i wont be and people will use the best or "cheapest" gems, or there wont be any "best" gem settings. Most likely its going to be unbalanced like most of capcoms new fighting games.
@sirkiblle2 They will probably make it as a system of trade. They will try to balance damage, recovery, speed, etc... somewhat like, taking a point of one category to add to the other.
Please, Ono, work on Dark Stalkers or whatever, SF is my favorite franchise of all time. I feel like SFxT is another SF game, we don't need a new SF game for the next few years. Besides, just keep updating SSF4, and get rid of the AE BS that cause so many characters to get nerfed. Keep the strong characters as they are (for the most part), and fix the nerfed characters for the 2012 patch.
If people can customize with these gems, won't people be making the most optimized version of that character thus going back to square one of fighting with the same character? There's got to be something I'm not understanding...
this guy works pretty hard.. he is in every single conference and fighting tournament... lol..........
with all this new content being added in this one game. What else could they add to the alleged Super version everyone's so worried about? I doubt they'll make a super mode any time soon because it would cause competition for Tekken vs Street Fighter
its good but......i prefer the traditional street fighter style no offense. the only thing that attract me to this game is the dream match and dream team between street fighter and tekken other than that. i prefer pure street fighter and pure tekken
