Trying figure what games I want get during Black Friday sales. Is the online community still active?

I haven't played a fighter in over a decade....

I would say yes but you should add +15$ to the price for the locked characters.

There is a TON of DLC, be sure to add that into your value calculation.

In general if you want to play against an online field of skilled players where casuals hardly exist at all, you will have fun. Otherwise you better have local friends to play or you will get bored quick.

The gems and combo editor are nothing but fluff, and the colors are free.

I got mine for 19.99 - 5.00 rz coupon(14.99) at BB the other day. Makes the 20.00 price for the dlc characters more palatable.

Granted though the only DLC that matters is the character DLC, and even then that's $20 than you should be paying for.

I would probably wait until the balance patch is out, since it will either make or break the game. Though 25 bucks is a fair price.
