Did they really have to have so many normals?! I mean come on....the tekken side has overheads and mixups for days. They couldn't have at least made it so they'd have as many normals as their rival/sf counterpart?

So you want them to just omit moves for no reason?

Also, since you're apparently new to the game I'll point something out for you- none of those moves make any of the Tekken characters worth a damn. There is a reason you see Ryu, Rolento, and Rufus all over the place in tourney play and virtually no one else.

King and Yoshi sayotherwise...though Yoshi does have probbaly the worst normals in the game....

It's because they're trying to 2 different play styles. Street Fighter is a game based on more on spacing and zoning, where Tekken is more based on mix ups and the high/mid/low game. Which is one reason why I like this game is to see the game styles clash.

It helps the Tekken side feel truer to themselves and injects variety into the game. Besides, some SF characters have a lot of normals too. Just look at Ibuki and her target combos. Do you want her to have those stripped away, too?
