Lots of retro fun!

What could possibly be better than a new Megaman or Street Fighter game? Well how about both rolled into one? It's STREET FIGHTER X MEGA MAN!

This game was released in December 2012 and celebrates the 25th anniversary of two of Capcom's biggest franchises by throwing them together in one awesome game.
Capcom could have easily released this game on Nintendo eShop or Xbox Live, and people would have paid good money for it, I would have, but they were nice enough to make this a free PC download for all! Thanks Capcom! Actually the reason for this being free is that the guy who created it doesn't have a licence for console development so they didn't have much choice...but hey, it's free so you can't complain!

This game is very different from any of the past Capcom Vs. games in that it's not a fighting game but actually an 8-bit Mega Man game with Street Fighter characters as the bosses.

There's Ryu, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, Blanka and some more, but no Gulie or even Ken, (C'mon, Ken's been there for the full 25 years) but what we do have is a nice variety of bosses and stages based on each boss.
I hadn't played much Mega Man before this although I had watched a few of the cartoon episodes and read some of the manga but I'm a big Street Fighter fan so I was very excited about this game, and thankfully, it doesn't dissapoint.

Mega Man is known for it's high difficulty and this game is no exception, I found it to be very challenging but still a lot of fun. I'm not sure how this compares in difficulty to the other Mega Man games so if your'e a fan then leave your thoughts in the comments.

The music in this game is awesome!
It's a mix between classic mega man tunes and 8 bit versions of the Street Fighter's themes and you can download the entire soundtrack for free on the composers website but you can also make a volentary donation.

For those of you who think the blue bommer is dead, think again! It's Street Fighter X Mega Man, download it now!

BTW, Shouldn't this game be called Street Fighter Vs. Mega Man? Namco do the X series but this is just Capcom...never mind. ;)
