Okay let me start off by saying Street Fighter in my family is an institution. My Husband was a ranked Street Fighter II player back in the day and we even bought the official arcade cabinet! So we know Street Fighter!
When we first ripped open the package installed this beauty and booted her up we were giddy like school kids on play day to click the start button, pick a character and start unlocking everything we could possibly unlock just to say we did. Boy were we in for a shock. I've played against some tough bosses before, but the final boss in SF IV (Seth) is probably the cheapest boss ever created in the history of fighting games!
I don't mean hard, cause after you learn the patterns it's quite eas to beat him on any level with any character (Sakura maybe not!), but why oh why Capcom to you smite us!? To be honest the only reason this game didn't receive a 10 was because of that meany Seth. I won't go into details with you on how to beat him, because, trust me, you'll either throw your controller (Assuming you're using a control pad, the keyboard is fubar to play with so I'd hope you would. :P) out the window or you'll learn the trick and start the long road of trying to complete the game with every character.
Cheap end bosses aside SF IV is still an amazing fighting game and a great addition to your library. Let's face it, when we're talking PC, it's the ONLY fighting game (Worth playing that is) so we'll take it. I will also add that you need a beefy system to run it at higher resolutions with full AA and the like, we have a Q9550 and a Radeon 4890 1GB and we maintained at least 90 fps minimum with everything on max!
Bottom line, if you're a Street Fighter fan, buy this game and play against friends, don't buy it for the single player experience because you won't be happy. But as a tournament game and again, as the only fighting choice for PC it's a no-brainer. HADOKEN!

A great game with variety of styles. The AI still seems unfair, like many fighting games. Get good at specials to win.

Has its ups and downs. Fans of the series should enjoy it while other gamers might be let down.

Folks, if you are like me and think that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is the height of fighting games, stay away from this one.

Today is my birthday (7-23-2011) and so me and my bro decided to have a gamer birthday bash. Just playing a bunch of video games together. The first game we played is Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on PS3. P1 - Da_Gamer(Me) P2 - Darthluke1Posted Aug 1, 2011
