This will hold SF fans over until SSFIVAE comes out soon!

User Rating: 9.5 | Street Fighter IV PC
Amazing game. Capcom nailed this port perfectly. Capcom does the BEST console ports and this is a great example of one of them. Is better than the console versions if your PC is decent. Runs great on medium level PCs as well. I have max settings with 1920x1200 res and AAx64 SLI in NCP and I STILL am getting a score of 140 frames per second in the benchmark. Runs awesome with no slowdown except for online lag AND it has Xbox 360 controller support and several other controllers as well. It recognizes my Logitech Wireless PS2 controller with USB adapter which I use instead of the Xbox 360 controller per better button and d-pad layout. The traditional digital shoulder buttons work better for me than the triggers on the Xbox 360 controller.

Graphics are amazing in the game. They have come a long long way from Street Fighter I. It zooms in a lot to see the detail on the fighters which is impressive and cool. Thing is, they could have added even more detail per it running so well. Stages are amazing to look at and take in. A lot going on in the backgrounds and some of them, you can interact with them.

Sound is excellent as well. The music is very well done in this game and memorable. The menu screen song is catchy and will get stuck in you head and drive you nuts, LOL. The voice work is very well done and not B movie quality at all. Sound FX bring the experience home to you.

Controls are tight and responsive. 360 moves are easier to execute than ever before. Special moves overall are not as frustrating to get to work as in previous SF games.

MP will beat you up if you are new. These people play this game A LOT and will run circles around you if you haven't practiced much. When I say they will run circles around you, I mean that literally. They will jump over your head over and over, back and forth while you stand there getting your ass kicked. I have been playing since Street Fighter I in the arcades with the huge rubber buttons and I am sure many of these people have as well. The extreme learning curve is the only thing distracting from this game. Fun to rank up and move up in the standings. Earning the unlocks like the titles is cool too. MS achievements are cool goals in this game. Lot of incentives to keep playing.

SP is very well done. End boss is hella hard but since when has the end boss ever been easy? You need to beat the game with all the SP characters to unlock everyone, so it is necessary to play. Lot of cool game modes to unlock colors and end quotes for your character that are worth checking out.

Overall, this game is what SF fans have been waiting for since SF III. It delivers big time for fighting game fans. SSFIVAE edition has been announced for PC which has way more content than this game does. That is the version to get. This version is great for working on your chops until that one comes out.
