Street Fighter IV Volt offers a wide variety of characters straight from the most recent edition in the series; graphically they've done a good job of reworking the cel-shaded characters and have used static pre-rendered images (to good effect) for the backgrounds on the IOS port.

While retaining many of the console versions features, they opted to shorten the learning curve by offering a simplified combo system for those not used to the series.

Also a wide variety of different single player and multi-player functions could potentially offer limitless hours of game play.

On the down side the game offers little story and I personally found the online multi-player suffers from allot of lag, sometimes to the extent where a match could be unplayable.

Overall a fun little addition to the series and enjoyable for fans and casuals alike, the game currently costs £2.99 so it's a bit pricier than most other apps but with that your getting a conveniently crafted copy of the console version on your IOS device.
