Against some pretty big cometition fighting games, Street Fighter II did really well. Way better than the first.

This game was a good start for Capcom. With all the competition from all the other fighting games (Final Fight, Kung-Fu Master, Urban Legend) this one turned out the best. With allits great graphics and sounds, this was an amazing game for it's time. There could have been a few more characters but (good thinking Capcom) they came out with SF II: The new challengers. Anyway, this game's gameplay was awsome, and all the story lines for all the characters were great and on track. This was truly a superb game, and a start of a new rave for Street Fighter.
