Now THIS is a true fighting game

User Rating: 9.1 | Street Fighter II Turbo SNES
This game blows DOA out of the water and it is for the SNES. All the characters, levels, fighting techniques and yourney play makes the game that much more exciting. Practically everyone who had the SNES had this game as it was the game to get.

Gameplay: Cream of the crop. This game has great basic moves for each character and then it has the more advances, special moves that each character has and thenit has the hidden moves that you have to do button combinations to do. The computer's AI is also suprisingly good as they always give you what seems like an even fight. This keeps the game exciting and fun as you dont know what the computer is going to throw at you. This game, however, gets old quickly as it is pretty much the same thing over and over again. None-the-less, its a great game.

Graphics: Very nice. There is a foreground and a background to this game which subliminally makes the game feel more real. Also, it has an interactive enviornment which compliments the games great graphics (when you destroy the car glass flies off).

Sound: Excellent. This game really uses the use of sound perfectly as when people execute their moves, they make various sounds, usually different ones for different moves,

Value: Very high. This game, other than Mortal Combat, that is one of the few excellent fighters in gaming.

Reviewer's Tilt:In my opinion, slightly under-rated as I believe this game deserves soething north of a 9.

Recommendation: Definitely, if you have a SNES, check that bargin bin and pick this one up but dont bother going out and doing anything darastic for it. Its not too different then any Mortal Combat or Dead or Alive game.
