All that you wish for and more!

User Rating: 10 | Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX PSP
I've had this game since its release and its always a game that I go back to. I'll play it for a few weeks, put it away and then in a few months time, bring it back out again and the cycle will start again.
I have a 10 hour commute to and from the city on a weekly basis, so that's a solid 10 hours of Street Fighter in the palm of my hand for me to enjoy...and whats not to enjoy!

Graphics
The graphics in this game are really solid and very sharp. There is a lot of detail in all of the characters and the small touches like the punch and kick connect graphics (not sure what that's called). The presentation is very slick and smooth and there are no glitches to be seen anywhere.

Sound
Again, everything in this game, including the sound is all very slick. The voicing in all of the characters and the fight announcers are all there to enhance this game.
The punch and kick sounds are spot on.

Gameplay
All of the above sounds all very nice but a game without solid gameplay means nothing and this doesn't disappoint.
There are so many modes to keep you going it will be tough for you to get bored.
If you want a bite sized bit of fighting, you can choose the arcade, if you wish for something a little longer, then you can partake in the World Tour to build up your character or the 100 Kumite competition whereby you play 100 fights and you try to win as many of them as you can, which is alot of fun.
Some people may say that, because you're unable to use an arcade stick, this is a downside and the controls may affect your opinion and experience of the game, however I disagree. Whenever I play Street Fighter, I'm one of these people that prefer to use a joypad than an arcade stick, so I do prefer this button configuration and it certainly hasn't affected my enjoyment of the game.

Final Thought
A perfect 10 score should only be reserved for a game with no faults, and I have put in so many hours into this game, I still cannot see any faults. Its Street Fighter in your hand, a crisp, clear conversion of an arcade classic with more gameplay options that you can poke a stick at, there are NO faults to this game. If you own a PSP, this is a must!!!!
