How's it going? If you've played the arcade, Playstation, or Dreamcast version of SFA3, then you pretty much know what to expect. But this is Max version. 4 more characters added to the mix to an already impressive roster of fighters. Eagle-the English stick fighter, Maki-blonde kunoichi from Final Fight 2 who makes you think of Mai from Fatal Fury, Yun-The young Kung-Fu fighting skateboarder from Street Fighter III. These characters were also on the much lesser GBA version. Then they add the magical schoolgirl, Ingrid-from Capcom Fighting Evolution, who is pretty much a rip-off of Athena from King of Fighters, but she is still cool.
This version also keeps all the modes from the console versions including the very impressive World Tour Mode which lets you level up and gain new skills with your choice of fighter. Network play is cool too. The only bad thing is the psp pad is hard to pull off some moves with. So I would recommend getting the special pad capcom made. The gameplay is so great with the combo meters, isms, The gameplay is still great as ever. Any fighting game fan with a psp should pick this up. But I still enjoyed the Dreamcast version the best which keeps this from getting a perfect score. Because of that pad. I could play this a long time because that World Tour mode is addictive.
