An adventure crime thriller, that has its share of ingenuity.

You play as Victoria McPherson, a detective in Chicago and alternate between her Grandfather Gus set in 1920's Prague as you hunt down a serial killer responsible for grotesque murders of prostitutes.

The game is a myriad of puzzles and crypts that you need to solve to find the killer that haunts you through the game. You might end up getting frustrated in some of the puzzles as you see no end to the ordeal. You have to push hard to look up the clues and evidences present there to piece them together to get the next step. I had to use the walk through in one or two of the parts where you have to make some sort of cup cake with a recipe or something. I thought that part was indeed boring and had none so ever connection to story line or to solving a murder. However, the game can get really creepy sometimes and you might end up getting quite a scare. You cannot die in this game. The parts involving Victoria's grand father are really heavy with a robust environmental setting that inflicts nostalgia and fear along the same lines.

The other complaint would be related to the ending of the game, which somehow feels like a betrayal as no clear explanation is provided and the end result is kept in dark. So much for playing...

Would advise it to an adventure fan, its a game one would really enjoy, but you need patience.
