- "Disappointing"
I was expecting a lot from this game since the first one was very well done. The graphics were surprisingly very bad for a pc game which just came out. The original Still Life which came out five years ago had superior graphics.
The graphics could have been overlooked if the story was any good but sadly that was lacking as well. It was very confusing. The killers methods were a rip off of the saw movies.
The puzzles were fine. A little too password oriented but overall all right. The inventory system was horrible. You can only carry a certain amount of items on you at a time and there are a few boxes you can store items in throughout the game. However each storage box is different. You can't go to another storage box and expect to find your items there ala resident evil. If you need items you left in the storage box located in the kitchen your going to have to travel all the way back there to pick them up.
There were a few spots of backtracking which were more frustrating than lending anything more to the gameplay.
Overall it was a boring, unimaginative story that I could have gone without playing. But since I had time to kill I wanted to try it out for myself. Your better off replaying the first Still Life and just forgetting about this one.

It pains me to say this. But instead of buying and playing this one, play the first Still Life a second time instead.
