Same good old story and chars. Some minor technical flaws such as seriously dated graphics and no lip-sync.

Good day,

I just got Still Life 2. Haven't finished yet but the story seems to be solid. It appears you will be able to control multiple characters as well as in previous game. The graphics is full 3D with no prerendered backgrounds but no free look, camera follows the character and then changes at certain point. Like exploring interiors let's say in silent hill 2. Controls are still 'point and click' (that's probably ok since it's mainly a puzzle game).

Some minor bad things:

1. There are many dialog sequences and there's no lip synchronization. Characters look like stupid dolls and not alive at all. I remember when I first saw lip synchronization in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver in the previous CENTURY! I

2. The voice play is very odd sometimes. It feels like every sentence was recorded separately and then joined together into one monolog. The intonations just do not add up. It's difficult to describe how stupid it sounds. And I am mainly speaking about mexican(or spanish) girl who is captured by the killer and tries to escape his house. And the killer's voice is like 18 year old teen's.

3. Graphics are dated. Low-poly models, low-medium quality textures, no post screen effects, just pre-rendered FMV sequences. It would look great if it was 2003 or 2004. You can see it in the screenshots.

But since this game is not about fancy visuals I would recomment it for all the people who liked the first one becouse it kept the same good old spirit.
