A pretty solid strategy RPG, but not the masterpiece it could have been.

Story: The story is pretty good and deals with themes like ecology and politics, not unfamiliar territory in this genre. I enjoyed it to a degree, but it is not as involving as other games in the genre like Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre or Vandal Hearts.

Gameplay: Pretty standard SRPG, though rather simplified compared to other games in the genre. It is still very entertaining and the gameplay is the main reason I completed this game.

Graphics: Easily some of the best in this genre. Beautiful lighting effects and great character design. The backgrounds look great as do the characters. There are several beautiful cut scenes as well that makes the presentation more dynamic.

Sound: Horrible voice acting, easily some of the worst in any RPG on the system. You can hardly call it acting as the actors seem awfully uninspired by the manuscript. Thank god you can turn of the voice acting, or else this game would have been unplayable, that is how bad the voice acting is. The soundtrack however is very good, not Hitoshi Sakimoto's best work, but still very solid.

Value: It's a fairly long game with lots to do and this game will keep you occupied for a long time.

I had high expectations for this game, from the previews it had beautiful graphics, supposedly a nice story and Hitoshi Sakimoto as a composer. Still, it is slightly disappointing in every way and fails to be the masterpiece it could have been.
