Very Addictive Gameplay!
GAMEPLAY: Well if you ever played Field Commander or Advanced wars it is basicly the same with the exception of the battles which are real-time battles & this is good becuz if you are weaker you can escape.
And if you attack any ship on its sides or behind the ship youll cause
a 10 second blackout for the enemy or if you attack from behind youll keep them in the dark for 20 seconds.....every real-time battle is 60 seconds long.
The missions are just right in terms of first couple of missions its easy as pie then its up hill & eventually your rock climbing BUT unlike field Commander this doesnt have any puzzle like strategy missions which is better becuz im still stuck on level 14 on field commander becuz of that puzzle like stuff.
As for UPGRADES they target your flagship for the most part.
P.S. I almost forgot which is when you start out you pick your choice of a flagship & once you get that you cant let that ship sink otherwise youll lose
And some missions have time limits of when you have to finish the mission but with no visiable clock.
GRAPHICS:Cant compete with Field Commander in this field but with lack
of graphics comes some HUGE maps in this game, im talking like 20 times the size of any map Field Commander has & you can have 8 fleets or ships at anytime on the map & each fleet has 8 ships in them & its your choice of ships in the fleet or just ships.
STORY:Well not much here besides getting a powerful weapon & attacking another powerful ship that has another weapon thats powerful, for the most part thats all that it is & they dont have voices just text of the people talking. MUSIC: Normally i dont talk about a games music but this one is the same ALL-THE-WAY-THROUGH the gameplay which is kinda annoying even tho it has an old school flavor to it.
OVERALL: Its gameplay is better then field commander & advanced war but the music & the lack of story is some what annoying BUT seeing as how few strategy games are out for the PSP i'd say its a buy.
