An experience.well worth the money. There's definitely a learning curve, and I hated the first few missions I had to play, though this was mostly due to simply learning the controls/gameplay mechanics (the game doesn't hold your hand very well). After a few hours however, I was addicted. It's immersive, challenging and fun. Most importantly though is the replayability. I find this one of those rare games (like GTA3, Halo) that I can always be in the mood for. The artwork and sound work together fantastically, making you feel immediately that you are in the middle of a battlefield and that death can come at any moment. Alone that would be impressive, but combined with the infamous controller, it's a complete experience (and I haven't even tried it in 5.1 sound or on HDTV yet!). There's no way this game should be condemed to a 7.3 GameSpot score, at the very least it's a 9 out of 10 and if you can afford it, I'd recommend this game to anyone.
