hmmm.. not quite there
It's a fun game that is very original; part action RPG, part SRPG and part puzzle game. Add to the fact that it seems to be tailor-made for a portable system and it could do well. The story might also be another selling point, as the humor in the game works well.
Cons:
- Some of the platform jumping is a little frustrating as the diagonal control is a little off and the princess tends to float a little while in mid-air which makes it easy to float past an intended landing area, such as a platform or an enemy's head (which is required in some of the stages).
- The stylus controls seem tacked on and unnecessary.
Overall:
The game reminded me of an old NES game with the gameplay mix of platformer and puzzle to clear small stages quickly. Nothing innovative or appealing to a DS user.
