The title says it all.
State of Decay is an intense and unique RPG game that has plenty to offer. Of course, its not without flaws, so personally, it deserves a solid 7 from me.
This is probably one of the most interesting open-world zombie game I've played. Occasionally, it can be very enjoyable, but the first time I played this, after 20 minutes, I immediately became bored. Well, my friends, that's because to be honest, I sucked at it. I literally had no idea how to gain control over the game, and so unfortunately, I always have my character get killed off. But once you gain more experience from it, you'll start to find it more enjoyable.
Speaking of characters, this is one of those game where death really matters. If the character you're playing dies, then he/she dies. That's the end of it for them. Life's hard. However, you get to play as a new person or an existing character from the story- *yay* - not really. If you've grown attached to a certain character, then you definitely don't want to see them die- in any possible way. Or else, if you really want them back, then you have to start the game all over again etc, etc, etc.
Pros:
- An Immersive open-world to explore throughout the game
- Great gameplay
- Decent Graphics
Cons:
- Annoying bugs here and there
- Difficult and Irritating zombies to kill
If you're looking for a game with a great story and a decent/enjoyable gameplay- this isn't for you. If you're looking for a game with a decent story and a great gameplay- then this is for you.
