    Sheer fun!

In StarTropics you are on a tropical island (C-Island) and as Mike Jones you set out to search for your uncle, Dr. Jones who has been abducted while conducting an archaeological expidition. Armed with only a yo-yo (that... Read Full Review

    Adventure Islands

This as you guessed it is another under the radar classic gem I love. The main problem with the game isn't so much that it's underrated or overlooked. But this game like sometimes a great movie or TV show despite the s... Read Full Review

Okay, let me preface my review with the fact that I can appreciate this as an above average pseudo 3-D action adventure.

On another level I hate this game I find that most games of this ilk are boring and provide me with nothing to spotlight as a bright point. I think that this game is probably the best of its type. I like this way more th... Read Full Review

The place where all the traps, dungeons, enemies, power-ups, and bosses go that are to XTREME for Zelda games.

From the beating the living tar out of enemies with a yo-yo to the trying to find a way out from the bottom of a graveyard, this game has alot. When you turn it on, it looks and feels like a Zelda game, but much harder. ... Read Full Review

A classic. The perfect game for it's time.

This is one of my favorite games ever made. It to me is classic. The story line for the game is good and the weapons (although really random) are cool. There are some hard parts for the game through. I have been through ... Read Full Review

Are you ready for a lesser-known adventure, that is almost just as good as The Legend of Zelda itself?

If you were playing StarTropics for the very first time, you'll notice one thing about the file select, it's pretty much exactly the same thing as Zelda's (on NES). This will probably make you instantly think that the g... Read Full Review

For fans looking for old classics on the NES... this is a must have game.

StarTropics is one great game. The story, the gameplay, the puzzles, the music is all superb. Story- This is a very interesting story as far as an NES game goes. It isn't FF7 but it is good. It has everything... a coo... Read Full Review

    Diserves a better sequal

Star Tropics is one of my favorite games in the NES library. There was a sequal to this game called Zoda's Revenge, and it sucked. Star Tropics is about a kid named Mike who's grandpa goes missing and goes on an epic adv... Read Full Review

    Who?! Mike Jones!

"Back then no one wanted me, now I'm still hot and no one on me." Star Tropics is a slept-on, timeless classic that still holds up to today's standards and exceeds every expectation. From the gameplay to the unforget... Read Full Review

Adventure. Sun. Surf. Yo-Yo action. Definite fun.

I remember when I first played this game. It was fun then and it's fun now. Its an action/adventure game with some puzzle solving involved. The action part primarily consists of running through dungeon like caverns, ki... Read Full Review
