Start the Party Save the World review, a great sequel!

User Rating: 8.5 | Start the Party! Save the World PS3
Before bying the game I tried to find reviews about the game but nearly nothing was exposed, so sad they were badly commercialised. I owned the first one so I gave it a try through ebay because no retailers had them.

The second game (Save the World) is still the same concept: alot of mini-games that make you feel like you play a party game on the Wii but with greater graphics and very precise controls with the Move. I'm 35 years old and all my friends had a blast with the game. It's not an easy game because of the great precision it request, so forget about your easy Wii cheatings. The Start the Party games are really for kids over 7 years old.

It's a great sequel but with less sharp humour and no ultra-mini-games like the fruit slicing. On the other hand you got new gameplays like 2D shooting, passing an object whrough holes, etc. The games are type of fun that gives you a smile, but dont expect jokes or crazy stuff that will make you laft. Still, I play more at Save the World because it's more fun when I am alone to be able select directly the mini-game I wish to play, wich was very limited in the first game. I would recommand the first game only for the sharp humour, the difficulty settings and the very crazy point system that they have for groups: the newbees nearly always win!

I give it a 8.5 because reviews alway rank very low the party games or the games made only to have fun. It's seems that Fun is not a criteria for reviewing games and rating them, wich make no sense if you just look at what games are there for in the first place: enjoyment. Anyway, the graphics are great, the gameplay is improved and yes, this is the closest to a party game on the Wii you can get.
