I may have never seen the original series but this is one great game. The combination of driving and shooting is very well balanced. Using the shoulder buttons the accelerate and the others to shoot break and perform maneuvers. The graphics are a little off an there is a lack of any real cutscenes, although the comic scenes are pretty good. There are plenty of cars, weapons and powerups for variations on how you take down the bad guys. There are great jumps, dangers and stunts to coordinate with the older series and most up to date movies meaning the action hogs get a slice of the action too. The music is pretty much the same all the way through so it may get repetitive for most people. Other than these there are loads of episodes to play through as well as stunt, race, chase and destruction challenges that give plenty of secret features and unlockables meaning that this remake of the series is just as good as the real series. Right on you punks, right on!
