Great single player action!
What I really liked about this game was the flexibility and upgrades of the members in each squad. Each member increases their experience points by completing each mission, and you decide what their equipment load out is for each mission.
If you have ever used a 3D rendering program like Maya 3D then, the mouse controls for your squad will be similar. You can choose different formations, my favorite being the circular based one, and you can scale your squad in this circle to be tight (small) or large. You can also rotate your squad around this circular and this formation gives an advantage in that any place that bugs pop up, ALL members in the squad will be in shooting range. This way, no one takes too much damage.
Important: make sure everyone stays alive for each mission so by the end, everyone can carry the best equipment.
I found the bugs to be diverse and each one requires a different technique for fighting .. and the Brain Bug, is especially challenging, because you can't fire projectiles at it!! so you need to get close.
Too bad no sequel was made, because this game really had potential. I have never seen anything else come close in concept, rpg and action value.
