Very special breed of game. Mixed many different genres, but works surprisingly well. Think of it as sandbox space simulation with several degrees of gameplay. Take your ship, travel the space, do some mining, exploring, missions from job board etc. When you gain money, experience and powerful ships, play meanest "thug" in the neighborhoud. But only then the fun starts! Once that is achieved you have access to seize control of entire faction, build structures and fleets, hire warlords (generals for your fleets). And then occupy sectors one by one. Eventually, you will reach a wall once other states consolidate against you. Then kicks in a third tier of game - you research new weapon- planet destroyer Proxima. With it you drive fear into defended worlds and smash them.
Nice game, great graphics, great and innovative gameplay. Controls are a bit harder to master, but after an hour or so no problem.
Definitely revcommend for space players!
